On Tuesday, 27 November 2007, the Patrice Pichet Group received the Sustainable Development and Renewable Energy Award of the Challenge Palm’Elec 2007, for Les Jardins d’Adèle, a collective housing residence at Besançon (Doubs).

Awarded by EDF, Crédit Foncier and Indicateur Bertrand who are part of the jury, this award recognises the initiatives of major property developers of new private housing to improve environmental protection.

More than an isolated project, this trophy reflects the overall approach of the Patrice Pichet Group. Its commitment to sustainable development is an integral part of the group's history. It was founded 20 years ago in the Bassin d’Arcachon area of the Gironde, where preserving the natural environment is major concern.

Aware of the responsibility of property developers in the quality of today's and future surroundings, the Patrice Pichet Group takes into account environmental impacts when designing and running its property developments.
